1. The Castle of Ripaille, built during the reign of Count Amadeus VI of Savoy (1343-1383) on territory then ruled by the Savoys on the southern shore of Lake Geneva (today, located near Evian, France), and later served as the hermitage of Amadeus VIII (1391-1439), First Duke of Savoy;
